Events are customizable actions performed on your website. Event Tracking lets you focus on what a visitor is doing on your page: did he or she watch a whole video, clicked on any particular element on the website, scrolled down, filled out a form, interact in any way with Flash elements or even move the cursor in a particular way. It is used to record actions which don’t generate changes in the website’s URL, but you still want to track them.

Event Tracking Reports help you learn how your visitors interact with your website, and can really help you optimize your website.

You can learn everything you want to know about Event Tracking from our Ultimate Guide.
