Filter, export, add notes, and more in reports (classic)

Analytics classic

Working on your reports may be one of the best ways to segregate all the data and pull the most important information out of it. Take a look below and see what operations Piwik PRO lets you perform on most of the reports.

You can filter all the reports with three selectors visible below: websites, dates (day, week, month, year or specific date range) and segments.

You can make the results flat to see every single page and subpage in a single report (If it’s not visible – the triangle button needs to be clicked). To make them flat you just need to click the first button under the reports and then “Make it flat” button:

Excluding low population

You can also exclude low population just to see all the most valuable data at once and crop the lowest 20% of data. To do that you need to click the first button under the reports and then click “Exclude low population” button:

This operation allows you to export all the reports to either CSV, TSV, XML, Json, PHP or RSS formats and work on them further on the tools of your choice. Just click the “export” button right under the reports and select the right format:

Searching through the reports

Your reports may look a bit overloaded, especially when you want to find something specific amongst them. Just use the easy search bar to look for anything you need to. Just click the “search” button right under the reports:

This feature allows you to compare the reports to (depending on the currently set period) last day, last week, last month or year. You can just go straight to Insights feature and get the view at your data from the other side. Just click the “insights” button right under the reports:

That’s how it looks like after opening the Insights feature:

After choosing the growth to be compared with the previous day we can see the additional comparison just like below:

Adding annotations

The feature is pretty useful when a lot of Users are committed to the same reports. You can always leave notes – either for yourself or for other members of your team. To add an annotation just click the button right under any graph:

Annotations which has been already implemented will look like following:
