Exporting an Audience to DoubleClick

It’s always useful to grow your audiences database if there’s a possibility to do so.

Here you can check how to sync Piwik PRO Audience Manager audiences with DoubleClick.

Please note: synchronization described in that article doesn’t copy the data stored in the past (before synchronization was enabled). It is an ongoing process that takes place real-time during the visit on a page (i.e. person who visited the page and belongs to an audience defined in Audience Manager is added to Segment/Audience in 3rd party tool by using appropriate pixel. Synchronization works in one direction: Audience Manager -> 3rd party tool.

The first step is to set an appropriate audience in the Piwik PRO Audience Manager administration panel (in order to do that, please navigate to Audience Manager, create a new audience similar to the one below).

Now you are ready to add your remarketing and conversion tags.

In all cases, please remember to set the previously created Audience as the tag’s trigger:

Please note that also “Export audience to…” setting has been set to the same audience, as on the example below. That setting is part of tag configuration.
