If you decide to cancel your subscription, you can do it directly in your account.
In this article, we’ll show you how.
Before you start
Here are a few things to know before you start:
- Piwik PRO uses Paddle to handle payments and invoices for self-service Business accounts.
- When you cancel your subscription, our payment provider, Paddle, schedules the cancellation for the end of the billing period. Canceling your subscription does not delete your account immediately.
- You can cancel an active subscription if you have access to Administration or you’re an Owner.
- You can cancel your subscription up to 30 minutes before your billing cycle renews.
- When you cancel:
- Your current subscription stays active until the end of the billing cycle.
- To see invoices from an earlier subscription, log in to the Paddle customer portal.
- Your account with data will be deleted, and you can’t restore it.
- If you buy a new subscription for the same account later, the platform shows invoices only for the currently active subscription.
Cancel in your account
To cancel your subscription, follow these steps:
1. Log in to Piwik PRO.
2. Go to Menu > Administration > Account > Billing & payment.
3. Click Manage payment.
4. In the confirmation modal, click Redirect. You’ll go to Paddle, where you can manage your payment details.
5. In Paddle, click Cancel subscription.
6. Confirm the cancellation.
Note: You can undo a subscription cancellation in Administration > Account > Billing & payment.
7. Done. After you cancel the subscription, the account owner will receive a confirmation email.
Cancel in Paddle
You can cancel your subscription in Paddle in one of these ways:
From a Paddle email:
1. Open the Paddle email notification.
2. Click the cancellation link.
3. Follow the steps in Paddle to cancel your subscription.
4. Done.
In the Paddle customer portal:
1. Log in to the Paddle customer portal.
2. In Subscription, click Cancel subscription.
3. Follow the steps to confirm cancellation.
Note: You can undo a subscription cancellation in Administration > Account > Billing & payment.
4. Done. After you cancel the subscription, the account owner will receive a confirmation email.
