It’s easy to share debug mode access for a specific site or app. Just send the link, even to users who don’t have a Piwik PRO account.
Before you start
Here are a few things to know before you start:
- You can share debug mode access with anyone, even users without a Piwik PRO account. These links don’t give access to any other part of Piwik PRO Analytics Suite.
- If you delete the link to share debug mode access, it will no longer work for anyone who has it.
Share access to debug mode
To share access to debug mode, follow these steps:
1. Go to Menu > Tag Manager.
2. Choose the site or app you want to work with using the site/app picker in the upper right corner.
3. Go to Debug mode.
4. In Your site address, type in or select your site or app address.
Note: The available sites depend on those you’ve added to your account in Administration > Sites & apps > Choose your site from the list > Data collection > Site or app address.
5. Click Share debug mode access.
Note:
- Each link for debug mode access works with only one site or app.
- You need at least edit & publish permissions to share debug mode access.
6. Click Copy to clipboard.
Note: If you delete this link, it will no longer work for anyone who has it. You’ll need to create a new one if you want to share access again.
7. All done.
