About data in Audience Manager

Audience Manager receives some data from Analytics and other data can be added separately. In this article, we’ll explain the set of data collected by default.

Basic data from Analytics

These data are automatically collected in Audience Manager and stored as analytics attributes:

  • Browser data
  • Campaign data
  • Location data
  • Device data
  • Referrer data
  • Visitor ID
  • User ID
  • Device ID
  • Email

These data are automatically collected in Audience Manager and stored as events (Audience Manager > Audience > Create new audience > Events):

  • First visit
  • Last visit
  • Submitted form

Additional data from Analytics

These data are also automatically collected in Audience Manager but stored as custom attributes:

  • Custom dimensions: If you use custom dimensions in Analytics, they are also automatically collected in Audience Manager. They appear as a custom attribute with the name of the custom dimension. For example, if you track the blog author as a custom dimension, the attribute will be created as Blog author and the value for it will be the value for a custom dimension.
  • Custom variables: Same way as custom dimensions.

These data are also automatically collected in Audience Manager but stored as events:

  • Goals: If you use goals in Analytics, they are also automatically collected in Audience Manager. They appear as events (Audience Manager > Audience > Create new audience > Events). Data stored for goals are: Conversions number and Last conversion.
  • Ecommerce: If you use the e-commerce module, data from it are also collected in Audience Manager. They appear as events (Audience Manager > Audience > Create new audience > Events). Data stored for the e-commerce module are: Last order, Revenue, and Last visit.

Data from mobile apps

Audience Manager uses the SDK library for Android and iOS and collects the following data as analytics attributes:

  • Device ID
  • Visitor ID
  • User ID
  • Email
  • Any key-value pair sent to Audience Manager
