The Facebook pixel is an analytics tool that allows you to measure the effectiveness of your advertising by understanding the actions people take on your website. You can use pixel data to make sure your ads are being shown to the right people.
With the Tag Manager’s template, you can implement such pixel in a hassle free way.
To set this up – select Facebook Pixel asynchronous tag template:
Now in Facebook Business Manager find pixel ID and paste into Set Pixel ID field:
Then select the Event that you want to track. For example “Add to cart”:
In addition to that, it is possible to Export a particular Audience to Facebook Ads Manager.
Once you have completed entering the tag information, select the trigger corresponding to the landing page where you would like to fire the tag or create one if it doesn’t exist already and click Save.
