AdRoll Pixel tag

The AdRoll Pixel tag lets you run remarketing campaigns on AdRoll. With Tag Manager, you can set it up in a hassle-free way.

Before you set up the tag, you need to find the advertiser ID and pixel ID in AdRoll. To find it, follow these steps:

  1. Go to AdRoll.
  2. Find the tracking code (pixel) and note the advertiser ID and pixel ID.

To set up an AdRoll Pixel tag, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Menu > Tag Manager.
  2. Navigate to Tags.
  3. Click + Create new tag.
  4. Name the tag and select the AdRoll Pixel tag.
  5. Paste the Advertiser ID and Pixel ID.
  6. An AdRoll Pixel tag in Tag Manager.
  7. Optionally, toggle Set conversion data, add a conversion value, and set currency.
  8. Set conversion data in an AdRoll Pixel tag.
  9. In Advanced tag settings, set the tag type. By default, it’s set to be displayed to visitors who consent to Remarketing, but you can change it to a different type.
  10. By default, the Respect visitor privacy is turned on. Leave it as is, if you want to respect visitors who set a do-not-track option in their browser.
  11. In Flight dates, set time during which you want to run the tag.
  12. In Tag triggers, click + New trigger or + Existing trigger to set up a trigger for your tag.
  13. Adjust trigger conditions.
  14. When you’re done, click Save for the trigger and click Save for the tag.
  15. Test your tag in debug mode.
  16. When you’re happy how the tag works, click Publish.
