The outlink report shows links that are on your website and direct visitors to external websites. Outlink data helps you learn where people click out from your site — be it your Facebook, LinkedIn, or Instagram page, documentation on GitHub, or your website that you track separately.
To view the report, follow these steps:
- Go to Menu > Analytics (new).
- Navigate to Reports.
- On the left, click Outlinks.
- View the report.
Metrics in the report
In the outlink report, you’ll find the following metrics:
- Unique outlinks: The number of unique clicks on links to external domains. When a visitor clicks the same link many times during a session, it will be counted only once.
- Outlinks: The number of clicks on links to external domains.
