If you no longer want to use Piwik PRO, you can permanently delete your account. In this article, we’ll show you how to delete your Piwik PRO account.
Before you start
Here are some things to know before you delete your account:
- After an account is deleted, it can’t be restored.
- You and other users won’t be able to log in. We’ll also remove all users of that account.
- We’ll delete all your data permanently. But you can export each report or export raw data with our BI integrations before you delete your account.
- Remember to remove the tracking code from your sites and apps after deleting your account. Otherwise, it will continue to send tracking requests to us, which may compromise the privacy of your visitors’ data.
- If you have the Enterprise plan, contact your account manager to delete your account.
Delete your account
To delete your account, follow these steps:
- Go to Menu > Administration.
- Navigate to Account.
- On the left, click Subscription.
- Click Delete account.
- Type your account address to confirm.
- Complete the exit survey. It will help us improve our product.
- Click Delete to confirm.
Note: If you confirm the deletion of your account, all users will be logged off instantly. After that, they will not be able to log in again.
- All done! Now your account is deleted. We’ll also send you an email confirmation to further confirm the deletion.
