Does the traffic from “Referrers | Search Engines” include our paid-search traffic (identified via campaign-parameters), or does it exclude the traffic with parameters?

Reports of Search Engines and Campaigns are separate. This means that specific visits can contain *either* information about it coming from Google search, *or* about source being specified campaign. Basically, those two reports shall not be correlated as they really contain different information.

If someone is following a Google Ad which will set the campaign parameters – this visit will be attributed as having “campaign referrer” even if the beginning was organic google search. Information about referrer is simply replaced with newer referrer if available.

Our Multi Attribution module could be helpful here if you have goals set up. If visitors would be converting goals, then you can analyze if the previous referrer of visit attributed with the campaign was Google Search.
